A Michael Head A.I.A. design, this new custom home has many features not normally seen in a residence. The entire sub floor is filled with small rock which stores heat in the winter, and cool air in the summer, which then circulates into the home. Long overhangs were engineered to allow in the low sun’s rays during the winter months, and shade the walls in the summer, keeping the home comfortable at all times. The owners are very happy, they turned on the heat and air conditioning just twice in the first year!
