Ladera Project
EXTERIORS:
Long, linear elevations offset with monolithic components which appear to bisect the home and carry through their respective colors and finishes, drawing the eye from interior to exterior views.
INTERIORS:
Simple details, clean lines, mixing rustic and modern finishes creating a calm, expansive feel. Decisions were made towards sensible and straight-forward finishes, adding most color and texture with soft goods and accessories making it easy to adapt to changing fashion and style. Attention was also given to wall space for art.
FINISHES:
Exterior plaster was scraped open and left rough, a primal contrast to the sleek, smooth steel finishes on accent walls and fascias. Materials and installation methods were devised to provide durability and low maintenance.
